The "Rules"

1. Don’t cheat or hack or spam:

If you think someone is cheating, do not complain incessantly on the server about cheaters or hackers.
Do not broadcast your opinions to the hacker.
You can contact an admin via messaging or email.
We will need his Steam ID number or IP address, type "status" in console to bring Steam ID up.
Or take a demo (F5 key). One of us will gladly go into spectator mode to observe the player. If the admin deems the person is not a hacker, then the decision is made.
A person is banned for hacking, when we see that there is enough reasonable doubt. If you are a regular, then take your case to the DFH Admin by PM(private msg), and talk it out.
Spamming is not needed in any server and does not benefit anyone. This includes but is not limited to text and mic spamming.

2. RESPECT YOUR FELLOW PLAYERS:

Don't demean other players (especially, new players). A little smack talk is acceptable between known associates; don’t overdo it.
RACIAL SLURS OF ANY KIND ARE NOT TOLERATED. ANY WORD OR PHRASE THAT OFFENDS A PERSON'S ETHNICITY, RELIGION, OR SKIN COLOR WILL RESULT IN A BAN. This also means - don't bypass the swear filter.
Show courtesy by not using names with profanity(including acronyms), degrading or sex-related, website addresses, non-alphabet character names (e.g., #--#--{{}}), unpronounceable names (e.g., qwjfldls), one letter names (e.g., "J"), or undetermined names (e.g., "Player", "unnamed", "private").
Advertisements are not allowed on our server.

3. Keep the teams as even as possible:
If the teams are uneven, we expect the best player to switch sides. It's not fair to a team that has 2-3 people less than your team and is just ruthlessly getting slaughtered. If the Dog Face Heroes admins are in-game, it is their responsibility to make sure the teams are balanced. In general, we ask the best player to voluntarily switch sides. Otherwise, DFH will make the teams even. IF YOU ARE MOVED TO ANOTHER TEAM BY AN ADMIN - DON'T SWITCH BACK - you will probably get kicked. Don't be a maroon. See it as an opportunity to get better.
We want players that comeback just because of the teamplay we have on the server.

4. Show dedication:

Don't let your team down because you got bored or wanted to experiment. Experiment when no one is around.
Don't go AFK (Away from keyboard)without telling an admin first. If you aren't responding and didn't give notice of AFK - expect to be kicked. IF you are going to be gone for more than a brief moment and the server is full, please leave the server and let someone else log on to play.
Note: CAMPING IS NORMAL IN DoD! Shooting into or out of Spawn is not normal on most maps. Please ask before doing so.

5. HAVE FUN!!!!!!

Do not make it hard for other players to play at anytime. This includes but is not limited to "team jumping" and "pathway blocking".
There is a limit to cursing and if you get complaints from anyone or a clan member tells you to calm it down, please do so.
Everyone likes a joke and we want you to have fun, but if you find an offensive player name funny, you can almost be 99% sure someone will find it offensive. We ask you to keep your names clean, if you're asked to change your name by an admin, please do.
